Ipod Killers
| There is an underground buzz that has been going around in the music industry of late. iPods and Mp3 players, even Discmans are running around scared. Cellphones have turned assassins and are ruthlessly gobbling up the market share of all of these players. |

Nokia 770
| The Nokia 770 is mainly meant for browsing the internet and doing online work such as emailing etc. Indeed the device has a complete name of "Nokia 770 Internet Tablet". The screen is positively largish huge at 800 x 480 pixels. It can also display 65,000 colors which I think is more than enough for standard work on the net. Since the screen is a touch screen, the user will work with an onscreen keyboard, while the display gives him zoom capability as well. Getting on the internet is extremely easy if you happen to be in a Wi-Fi hotspot. |

| Cell phones are a great marketing tool and we, the users would love to have text messages about topics or sales that we love and care about. The messaging lists should be strictly "opt-in" only and the subscriber should be very easily able to unsubscribe at any point of time. However considering the potential that cell phones have, this is going to be easy to say but extremely difficult to implement. Companies such as Coca Cola and McDonalds have already launched campaigns on SMS. Its absolutely not surprising when reality shows such as American Idol have managed to rake in about 14 million votes. |

| Considering that we use a cell phone even in the presence of a land line now that call rates are mostly on par, perhaps we should be evaluating security concerns about this risk. While it is common knowledge that authorities have had access to our calls, we were satisfied by the fact that this capability could not be mis-used. Even the authorities needed to get permission from a court of law with specific reasons for their wanting to do so. |

| Woof!? Nope, its not anything even remotely similar to that Japanese toy robot that can do tricks and obey voice instructions. In fact the MyAy device (pronounced as my-eye) is exactly that, it helps in keeping things secure. The box shaped device is something from the future, kind of reminds me of the Dexter cartoons that I love to watch in my free time. |

| The software being a permission based one will not invade the privacy of the individual which would be the prime concern of everyone. There are three options that the software shall provide; the tracked mobile user may allow one time checking or unlimited access. The third option allows the mobile user to deny access. The software brings to mind several uses such as can be used by parents on children to confirm that they are attending school / college. |

Convert your old phone into charity or plant it to grow a flower
| Science Fiction? No way, this is not even in the near future, its already here. With cell phones having rapid turn over times (people changing them at least once a year and geeks going well above the average rate) its getting to be a real problem at stowing these phones into landfills. |

New Role for Cellphones
| It seems that mobile phones have taken the lead line of Star Trek, altered it a bit and taken it to heart. To go where no gadget has gone before and to do what none has either |

Bluetooth Keyboard
| As handheld devices such as PDA's, smart phones and the like become increasingly complicated by virtue of increasing functionality, the competition is that how much is too small. We want our devices to be small enough that they are not a hindrance while carrying around, yet they should also be comfortably large while inputting data. |

Lip reading phone
| We've all been there before: you need to have a private cell phone conversation but you're in a public area. You don't want others to overhear your conversation, and plus, using a cell phone in public can be rude or even prohibited. |

Nokia Music Player
| So what is the music player exactly? Well for one, it plays music. This is achieved by having a built-in radio as well as a standard MMC card slot which allows the player to read and play MP3 files and AAC files. The device weighs a mere 50 gms with battery (a standard AAA battery). |
